About

Three writers in Bologna who believe the quietest voice in the room is often the most persuasive.

Wildwood Copywriting was planted in Bologna in 2022 by Clara, a former literary editor who had spent twelve years shaping novels and non-fiction books before realising that the same narrative principles could transform business writing. She partnered with Matteo, a conversion specialist who had generated over €3M in trackable revenue but had grown disillusioned with the aggressive, manipulative copywriting tactics that dominated the industry.

They were joined in 2023 by Serena, a content strategist and former environmental journalist who brings a naturalist\'s eye for observation and a journalist\'s rigour for fact-checking. Together, they formed Wildwood around a simple belief: the most effective copy does not push people toward a decision. It clears a path so they can find their own way there.

We are based in Bologna\'s university quarter — Via Zamboni, surrounded by the oldest university in Europe, seven hundred years of intellectual tradition, and the best food in Italy. The Bolognese approach to food — simple ingredients treated with extraordinary care — is exactly how we approach copy. No artificial additives. No unnecessary complexity. Just words chosen with patience and arranged with craft.

1,400+ pages planted. 195+ brands rooted. Average growth lift: 31%. Average client rating: 4.96 out of 5. We are the smallest copywriting studio on this list, and we intend to stay that way. Growth for its own sake is a weed. We grow only as fast as our care can sustain.

Wildwood team

Roots before branches.

Every project begins underground — in research, in listening, in understanding the ecosystem your brand exists within. We never write a word until we understand why it needs to exist.

Seasons, not sprints.

Good copy needs time to develop. We do not rush. We work in natural rhythms — listening season, mapping season, planting season, pruning season. The result is copy that endures.

Measured by growth.

We track conversions, revenue, open rates, and engagement — the genuine signs of life in your marketing. Vanity metrics are fallen leaves. We count the new growth.
